Day 1  Ho Chi Minh
Arrival in Ho Chi Minh. We welcome you at Airport and transfer you to hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2 Ho Chi Minh city tour & Cu Chi Tunnel (B,L) :
We start the trip by these famous places: Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. (Drop you off at Ben Thanh Market for shopping if we have enough time). Afternoon, Arrival at Cu Chi tunnel, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war).

Day 3 Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B,L)
Around 8.00am, head to Can Tho, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh, a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages. Transfer to Can Tho city. Stay overnight at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 4 Phong Dien – Cai Rang (B,L)
Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river, then proceed to visit Cai Rang floating market which are the liveliest in the whole religion. Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a “Monkey bridge” which is built by only o¬ne stem of bamboo. We continue the tour and stop at a orchard garden. Stop for lunch. Then go back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 5 Ho Chi Minh – Market & Shopping – Hong Kong (B,L)
Morning, breakfast at hotel. In this morning, you will go shopping and sightseeing at the 2 large and famous markets in Ho Chi Minh: Binh Tay market & Ben Thanh market. After lunch, we transfer you to Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh city for your departure flight.   Arrival in Hong Kong, we welcome you at Airport and transfer to Regal Oriental Hotel.

Day 6 Hong Kong Half Day sightseeing tour.

Day 7 Leisure time at Hong Kong

8 Days Coastal Vietnam

 Day 1: Arrival Hochiminh (D)

Arrive Saigon and transfer to your centrally located hotel, We begin our Saigon experience with an orientation walk along the city’s historic boulevards, passing some of its most interesting sights. We wander Saigon’s wide and historic boulevards, visiting famous landmarks such as Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Cantina), Hotel de Ville, the former Presidential Palace and the lively Chinatown district – Cholon . Overnight in Hochiminh City

 

Day 2 : Hochiminh – Hue(B,L,D)

We fly to hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital and a charming town set on the perfume river. We travel along the river to the 16th century thien mu pagoda and then see remnants of hue’s royal past at the imposing former residence, the citadel, and at the impressive tomb of emperor Tu Duc. Overnight at Hotel or Resort

 

Day 3: Hue – Hoian (B,L,D)

We drive over the spectacular Haivan pass, past stunning rural and coastal scenery, to the town of danang, visiting the cham museum with its unique, Hindu style sculptures. We drive the short distance south to famous china beach and then to the enchanting town of hoi an, a port town since the middle ages. We walk Hoian’s narrow lanes, visit 300-year-old houses, see the traditional market, enjoy a cruise to on the Thu Bon river through tranquil rural scenery and soak up the quaint atmosphere.

 

Day 4: Hoian (B)

Full day free at leisure to excurse the ancient town.

Overnight in Hoian.

 

Day 5-: Hoian – Hanoi (B,L,D)

Flying north, we arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam’s present-day capital and one of Asia’s most attractive and interesting cities. We enjoy a cyclo ride, explore the fascinating old quarter, stroll along the beautiful boulevards and see the infamous ‘hanoi Hilton’ prison.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6 : Hanoi – Halong Bay(B,L,D)

We spend 2 day/ 1night cruising the world heritage listed halong bay – a natural wonder

with thousands of islands creating a unique and beautiful landscape. – Pick up at hotel and drive to Halong bay through Red River Delta ,Nature of countryside is beautiful on country land. Arrival to Halong bay. Board our Junk boat for a cruise amongst towering limestone backdrops. Visit to caves, grottoes, floating fish villages and beaches. Have fresh seafood lunch on Cruiser .More cruise, swimming on nice beach .

Day 7: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L,D)

Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for another lovely day. Breakfast then , Junk boat once again sets sail through breathtaking secluded Halong bay Cruise

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Our representative/tour guide will meet and greet you at the airport. Drive to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi City Tours – Sapa
Enjoy 5 hour sightseeing tours to visit the city’s landmarks such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, The Temple of Literature (First University built in the 11 Century), Hanoi Hilton Museum. Free walking around Hanoi old quarter for shopping and short visit Dong Xuan market. Enjoy 1 hour cyclo tours around the Hanoi City’s old quarters and the traditional Water Puppetry show. At 22:00, we go to Hanoi Train Station to board overnight train to Sapa. (B/L/-)

Day 3: Lao Cai-Sapa-Catcat
The train arrives in Lao Cai at 05:00 am. Drive uphill with en elevation of 1,500 meters to Sapa. Sapa is the former hill retreat for French administrators when the heat in plain became unbearable. The remoteness and simple lifestyle of ethnic minorities are a highlight of Sapa. After checking into hotel we can soak up the fresh climate as much as we want by spending time to wander around. The ethnic people are frequently seen in this hill town and small vendors along the street sell local textiles and handicraft. In the afternoon, we trek to Cat Cat village (2 km from Sapa town) where you will visit the village of Black H’mong hill tribes. (B/L/-)

Day 4: Sapa-Laochai-Tavan-Lao Cai – Hanoi
This morning, trekking to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages inhabited by Black H’mong and Dzay ethnic minorities. Enjoy the landscapes of terraced paddies, green valleys and meet with friendly local people. Back to the hotel and free at leisure. In the afternoon, we transfer you back to Lao Cai station to take night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on the train. (B/L/-)

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay
Pick up at Hanoi station at 05:00. Transfer to a mini hotel to refresh and have breakfast. At 08:30 am, we depart for Halong Bay. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on the Junk Cruise (B/L/D)

Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi
Waking up and having breakfast served onboard. Continue cruising around the bay. Take sampan to visit Luon Cave and come back to the boat. Having brunch before disembarking and van will pick you up at the pier and transfer back to Hanoi. Visit Dong Trieu ceramic and pottery village on the way. Arrive in Hanoi at 04:00 pm. Day 7: Hanoi – Hue
Transfer to airport to catch morning flight to Hue. Check-in hotel upon arrival and take refresh for a while. This quiet city is known for the magnificent architecture of its citadels, palaces, royal tombs, pagodas and temples built under the Nguyen Dynasty. We visit the major sites including the Imperial Citadel with Forbidden Royal City like in Beijing. Free shopping in Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue (B/L/-)

Day 8: Hue
Morning boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and Ming Mang Emperor’s mausoleum. Overnight in Hue (B/L/-)

Day 9: Hue – Danang – Hoi An
This morning we drive to Hoi An, we will drive across the Hai Van Pass where you will have a good view of the China Sea. Stop at Lang Co to have a break. Visit the fascinating Cham Museum, famous China Beach and the Marble Mountains en route to Hoi An. Enjoy a walking tour through the Old Quarter and try some of the local specialties. Hoi An is also famous for its large number of tailor shops. Overnight in Hoi An. (B/L/-)

Day 10: Hoi An
Morning tour to visit local market and boat trip on Thu Bon River to visit handicraft villages. Back to hotel and you will be free at leisure on the beach or wandering around the town for the rest of day. Overnight in Hoi An. (B/L/-)

Day 11: Hoi An – Saigon (Ho Chi Minh)
Free at leisure until transferring to Danang airport to take flight to Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam’s largest city has an exciting buzz as millions of people rush around on their daily business. We’ll see the historic Reunification Palace and some great examples of French colonial architecture from the comfort of a cyclo. Day 12: Saigon – Mekong Delta – Can Tho
Leave Saigon for 2 hours drive to My Tho – a town located on the northern banks of the Mekong river and is the closest town in the Delta area to Saigon. In the center of the town close to the river there is a large market to sell anything that can be eaten or used in people’s daily life. Around the My Tho area you will find a maze of small canals for boat tour. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island with lunch en route. Continue with a visit to a snake farm and then drive to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho. (B/L/-)

Day 13 Can Tho – Saigon
Early morning board for a 3-hour cruise to Cai Rang and Phong Dien, the two big floating markets with stops at a Bun Tau noodle factory and a short trek before arriving at a rice-husking mill. At the floating markets, you will discover a typical way of displaying and advertising farm products of local people to trade their goods. Drive back to Saigon with a lunch stop at My Tho. (B/L/-)

Day 9: Saigon – Mekong Delta
Leave your hotel at 7.30 for a 3-hour drive to Cai Be with stop en route at Trung Luong Bonsai garden for a tea break. Upon arrival, board a motorized boat to visit the popcorn cake, rice paper making family before visiting the lively floating market of Cai Be. Then continue by boat towards Vinh Long province to see the diverse fish traps in order to learn a kind of lazy fishing. After cruising along small shady canals, we step ashore and take a chance to watch a typical and interesting music show of the Mekong cultural life. Lunch is at the home/ bonsai garden. Afternoon, take a walk for about half an hour to enjoy the rural peaceful atmosphere of the countryside life, on the way we can also stop en route to learn more about fruit trees. Drive back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon (B/L/D)

Day 10: Saigon – Departure

Day 2 : BANGKOK-TEMPLES TOUR
Pick up from hotel visit to Wat Traimitr (Temple of the Golden Buddha) this is the world’s largest solid gold Buddha, built about nine centuries ago. The image is three meters high and weighs five and half tons. Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha) it is Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple. The gigantic gold plated reclining Buddha with inlaid morthe-of-pearl soles is highly revered among Buddhists.Wat Benchamabophit: (Marble Temple) the main building was constructed during the reign of King Rama V. Free till time transfer to bus station for Siem Reap. Pick up at border Poipet. Visit Angkor Thom (South gate, Bayon, Baphoun, Pimeanakas,Leper king & Elephant Terrace). A famous Buddhist Temple built in 12th Century by The great King Jayavarman VII. Visit Angkor Wat Temple built in 11th Century by the Hindu King Suryavarman I. Day 4: SIEMREAP-PHNOM PENH
Breakfast at Hotel, pick up, transfer to ferry or Bus to Phnom Penh. Visit Royal Palace such as Wat Prah Keo Morokat was built in 1892-1892 in style of Traditional Khmer architecture. It was also a place where the royal family used to perform royal ceremonies. Visit National Museum of Art, designed by a French architect with beautiful Khmer-style. Wat Phnom, the most sacred sight in Wat Phnom located north of the old market. The current sanctuary, house a number of Buddha relics and is a quite beautiful: frescoes in rich crimson and gold decorate the wall and ceiling. In the small pagoda between the wibarn and a large stupa which house the ashes of a 15th- century Khmer king. The small park at the base of wat Phnom is popular with families and school children, while vendors peddle coconuts, soda, mouth-watering glasses of Sugar cane juice festifals and ceremonies. Day 5 : PHNOMPENH-SAIGON
Breakfast at Hotel. Free till time transfer to bus station for Saigon. Upon arrive Saigon. Welcome by friendly guide then transfer to Hotel. At Leisure.(B)

Day 6: CITY TOUR & VISITING CU CHI TUNNELS
Buffet breakfast; visit China Town – Thien Hau Pagoda – Remnant War Museum – Reunification Hall (Formerly Presidential Palace) – Opera House – City Hall – Drop at Main Post Office & Notre Dame Cathedral for taking picture – On the way coming back the Hotel, stop at Lacquewares factory for shopping. In the afternoon, visit Cu Chi Tunnels. The bitter battlefield for many years during the Vietnam War, Visitors cannot miss a visit to this “underground village” with the intricate network of over 200 Km tunnels. In the evening, cruising on Saigon river by Indochina boat to see the whole Saigon activities by night. Having dinner on boat & enjoy live music performance. (B/L/D)

Day 7: MY THO – MEKONG DELTA
Buffet breakfast. Visiting Vinh Trang pagoda. Cruising on Mekong River to see the Daily activities of the local people (having coconut juice on the boat). Taking a smaller boat to go along the small canal, visit the bee farm, orchards, enjoying tea, honey, seasonal fruits, sweets, amateur traditional music performance, seeing coconut candy mill. Day 1 ARRIVAL HANOI
Meet on arrival at Hanoi/Noi Bai Intl. airport, transfer to hotel for check in. Meeting at lobby of the hotel. Cyclo tour (2 hours), visit to The Old Quarter of Hanoi and Ngoc Son Temple. Dinner at local restaurant. Drop off at Thang Long theatre for Water Puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. The artists-men and women-stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move about, talk and laugh and even dance on the surface of the water. Overnight in Hanoi. (D)

Day 2 HANOI – HALONG
Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday, the whole October and November). One Pillar Pagoda. Drive to Halong, 180 km east of Hanoi. On arrival take a wooden boat and have seafood lunch on board. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets. Many of them contain beautiful grottoes. A 4-hour boat trip will visit to Thien Cung and Dau Go grottoes. Drop off in Halong town. Overnight in Halong. (B,L,D)

Day 3 HALONG – HAI PHONG – HANOI – DANANG – HOI AN
Drive to Hai Phong, visit to the Garden theatre, Du Hang Pagoda and Kenh temple. Transfer back to Hanoi Lunch. Visit to Temple of Literature built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, Quan Thanh Temple and Fine Art Museum. Transfer to the Hanoi airport. Depart Hanoi for Danang. Arrive in Danang, proceed to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoian. (B,L,D)

Day 4 HOI AN
Discover the historic town, a prosperous seaport city during 16th to 18th centuries. Visit the Phuc Kien Hall, Japanese covered bridge, Tan Ky Old House and the workshop of traditional occupation of Hoi An ancient town. Overnight in Hoian. (B,L,D)

Day 5 HOI AN – DANANG – HUE
Proceed to Danang, transfer to visit Cham Museum, Marble Mountain and China Beach. Drive to Hue across the Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds). Hue, the royal city of Vietnam’s last ruling dynasty. Visit Tu Duc tomb. Lunch at Tropical Garden restaurant. Boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba Market.

Day 6 HUE- HO CHI MINH CITY
Depart Hue for Hochiminh (Saigon). Upon arrival, visit China Town, Thien Hau Pagoda, History Museum and former Presidential Palace. Make photo stops at the famous tourist sites such as Notre Dame Church, and Central Post Office. Overnight Hochiminh. (B/L/D)

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnel – City Tour 
Breakfast at Hotel. Coach trip to Cu Chi Tunnels to visit the incredible underground tunnel network built by Vietnamese guerrilla fighters during USA-Vietnam war . Back to HoChiMinh City for lunch. Saigon city tour: Reunification Hall (Former Presidential Palace), Historical Museum – enjoy Water Puppet Show, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office. Day 3: Hochiminh – Mytho – Hochiminh
Breakfast at Hotel. Coach trip to My Tho. Capital of Tien Giang province, some of the most beautiful rural areas of the Mekong Delta. Cruise on Tien River to visit Thoi Son Islet, Tropical Fruit Garden and enjoy Local Folk Songs. Back to the Boat Station.
