DAY 1 // BANGKOK ARRIVAL
Upon arrival in Bangkok, meet your local English-speaking guide and transfer to your selected hotel for overnight. Accommodation: Local 4*: Pullman Bangkok Hotel G (G Deluxe Room) or similar Local 5*: Sofitel Sukhumvit (Luxury Room) or similar Note: Hotel check in time is 3PM

DAY 2 // BANGKOK (B/L)
After breakfast, you will get pick-up from your hotel (7:30AM) for the Ayutthaya tour (going by road & return by join cruise). This excursion takes us through beautiful scenery to the north of Bangkok, and onto the ancient city of Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam. Containing UNESCO-listed temples and stupas, Ayutthaya was the Thai capital for 417 years and is one of Thailand’s major tourist attractions. Many ancient ruins can be seen in the city, which was founded in 1350 by King U-Thong. A total of 33 kings of five dynasties ruled the kingdom until it was destroyed by the Burmese in 1767. Included in the itinerary is a visit to the Summer Palace of King Rama V with its mixture of Thai, Chinese and Gothic architecture. We return to Bangkok by boat and enjoy lunch on board whilst cruising down the Chao Phaya River and watching life on the river pass by at a sleepy pace. Return to the hotel around 5PM and evening at your own leisure.

DAY 3 // BANGKOK (B)
Breakfast at the hotel then take a tour (8AM) that included three of Bangkok’s most famous temples, plus the iconic Grand Palace. Wat Traimit, a 700-year-old, threemeter-tall golden statue, cast from five-and-a-half tons of solid gold which makes it the world's largest solid gold statue. Wat Pho features one of the largest Reclining Buddha images in Thailand. It is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, situated in the Grand Palace complex, otherwise known as Wat Phra Kaew is regarded as the most sacred temple in the kingdom. It is an architectural wonder of golden stupas, walls and pillars encrusted in shining and colourful mosaics and murals. It is home to the sacred Emerald Buddha, a dark green statue which has been carved from a single jade stone. Previously the residence of past Kings of Thailand, you will see palace buildings once used for different occasions, the Reception Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Throne Hall, the Royal Guest House. The architecture is predominantly Thai, though there are some interesting European influences. Return to your hotel before 1PM and the rest of the day is your own leisure. Note: - Dress code for the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew: Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops. If you are wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks (no bare feet.) Women must be similarly modestly dressed. Skirts need to fully cover the legs, no see-through clothes, no bare shoulders, etc.

DAY 4 // BANGKOK – KANCHANABURI (B/L/D)
Pick up from your hotel around 6:30AM and depart to Kanchanaburi, our first visit of the day is the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre an interactive museum and research centre, here you will find information dedicated to preserving the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway. Then on to visit Allied War Cemetery and pay respect to the memorial to some 6,000 allied prisoner of war who perished during the construction of the Death Railway and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place. Visit the world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs in World War II and had seen its share of conflict and bloodshed. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Visit the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre. The interpretive centre presents the history of the Burma-Thailand railway under chronological and thematic headings, explaining the rationale for the railway, the way in which it was constructed and the hardship experienced by those who worked on it. Then you can descend the long set of stairs behind the museum to Hellfire Pass Memorial Walking Trail following the original rail bed. Then transfer to Phutakien pier and take a long-tailed boat from Phu Takien pier to The Float House River Kwai. Check-in upon arrival. Dinner followed by a 45–minute presentation of traditional Mon Dance at River Kwai Jungle Rafts and return to overnight at The Float House River Kwai.

DAY 5 // KANCHANABURI (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we re-join our long-tailed boats to take us on an exciting boat ride upstream to Saiyoke National Park, it's a bucolic place of walking trails amid mixed forests of bamboo, evergreen and deciduous greenery. Then, visit the Mon tribal village, where the Mon people have lived for generations. Visit the Golden Rock, Buddha image cave and village school. Take a short walk on easy jungle trail along the river bank to get to the stunning viewpoint of River Kwai. Lunch at local restaurant before visiting Lawa Cave and exploring the fascinating stalactite in the afternoon and there’s a chance to spot Khun Kitti, the smallest bat in the world with a span-world of 10 cm and a weight of less than 2 gram. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 6 // KANCHANABURI – HUA HIN (B/L)
After breakfast, check-out and depart hotel (7:30AM) then take a long–tailed boat downstream to Phutakien Pier and continue on road. Lunch at local restaurant and enjoy an experiential train ride along the famous Death Railway that excitedly runs through the rock-cutting passage over the wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs. After that, we will continue approximately 4-hour-drive to Hua Hin where you will have free time at leisure on beach. Accommodation: Local 4*: Rest Detail Hotel (Rest Green Room) or similar Local 5*: Anantara Hua Hin Resort (Premium Garden View Room) or similar
